Join us for an unforgettable evening in Ellen’s as Lagos-born, London-based DJ and artist Adiba takes you on a journey through rhythm and soul, exploring the sensual grooves of highlife and Afrobeat with a live band, rich horn sections, and her own inimitable, captivating vocals.
Adiba will be joined by a world-class group featuring Sheila Maurice-Grey - bandleader of Kokoroko - on horns, plus producer Kwaku Darren Adjei on guitar, and completed by musicians from the late, great Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen’s own band.
Then, stay on your feet for her signature high-energy DJ set, where the band keeps the vibe alive and the dance floor lit. Having given electrifying performances at venues including our own KOKO theatre, The Jazz Cafe and Tate Modern, we can’t wait to turn energy up with Adiba at the House.
