Petra Hajduchova is a classically trained keyboard player and completed her studies at Trinity Laban (former Trinity College of Music) in London where she received a TCM Scholarship and the Raymond Russel Prize. A specialist in harpsichord and early music, regularly performs piano and organ as well. She has developed an interest in a wide range of musical genres, including the use of electronic sound effects. Petra is in high demand as a soloist, choir accompanist, orchestral and chamber musician, performing regularly on the Continent as well as in the UK, with leading ensembles such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, English Chamber Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Piccadilly Sinfonietta and many more. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St James Piccadilly and St John’s Smith Square.Petra is also active in the world of opera which enabled her to visit Brazil to perform in a production of Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea with Ensemble OrQuesta.During her career as a performer, she has made numerous radio and television broadcasts, including a live appearance on BBC Radio 3 and recording the soundtrack for BBC's Wolf Hall (Debbie Wiseman), the ITV period drama series Victoria (Ruth Barrett) and Netflix series Decameron (Ruth Barrett). 

She featured on a CD of music by the Moravian composer Gottfried Finger with The Harmonious Society of Tickle-Fiddle Gentlemen. Petra has been recently involved in filming of the music by Yu-peng Chen for Genshin Impact, the internationally successful computer game (60 million live users) with the London Symphony Orchestra.In addition to performing, Petra enjoys teaching harpsichord at Canterbury Christ Church University and at London Performing Academy of Music. She has participated in several educational projects for children across England and teaches piano at schools and music establishments.Petra has recently accepted a scholarship at Canterbury Christ Church University to do a PhD in Bohemian and Moravian Cantors (ecclesiastical lead singers) of the 17th and 18th centuries.Her recording of EP Experimentum is appearing on all main streaming musical platforms, it combines extended techniques of the harpsichord playing with electronic sound effects.
