Brazilian Bahia guitar specialists BaianaSystem take over HERE at Outernet once again for an evening of Afro-Brazilian carnival sounds, visuals and dance moves.
BaianaSystem is a musical project formed in 2009, dedicated to finding new sound possibilities for the Bahian guitar, an instrument created in Salvador. The name comes from the combination of "Bahian guitar" and "sound system" and is a nod to the band's Afro-Brazilian- style. Expect a blend of sounds and styles from Brazil to Jamaica and everywhere in between.
