More information about Catching Flies: Live With String Ensemble tickets

Join us this October for an exclusive homecoming show with Catching Flies. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ, known for weaving together elements of downtempo electronica, jazz, soul and ambient. The London-based producer has earned a devoted following with releases such as his debut album Silver Linings - described as ‘a brilliantly eclectic record… a moving journey that will last long in the memory.’

His music is a bass heavy yet melodic mesh of broody electronics and intricate rhythms, containing shades of everything from hip-hop to house, from soul to jazz  — always rooted in emotion and atmosphere. He has released music on Ninja Tune, Anjunadeep and Cercle, as well as his own label Indigo Soul.

This special live performance will see Catching Flies joined by a string ensemble at the unique EartH Hackney, with its stunning art deco theatre and state-of-the-art spatial audio sound system. It provides the perfect setting using immersive sound technology - making it feel like sounds are coming from all around you, including above and below. Intimate yet cinematic, and built for connection through sound.

Sign up now for the chance to experience what will surely be a spectacular live performance.

We are now implementing a £1.50 restoration levy per ticket at EartH, which looks to raise funds for ongoing works in the building. The majority of these funds will be spent on music education projects for community use, artist studios and maintenance to keep the building functional, as well as improving access facilities for each space. If you have any additional questions about our venue levy don't hesitate to contact us on info@earthackney.co.uk.
