More information about EuroHeedfest 14: annual Guided By Voices fan event tickets

EuroHeedfest, the essential annual Europe-based party for Guided By Voices and Robert Pollard fans the world over, returns for its 14th edition - the second at our wonderful new home, The George Tavern in East London. Expect quality live music, free-flowing drinks and much excitable chat with likeminded music enthusiasts! All are welcome :)

This year's roster includes:

EuroHeedfest house band BAND OF PRICKS will perform their customary GBV hits and live favourites set in addition to performing classic record Under The Bushes Under The Stars in full, in the year of its 30th anniversary.

Special guests for this year's event are YOUR VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT who are a "South-East London supergroup" comprising members of much loved indie-pop troupe Baggio and others, performing their favourites from the GBV/Pollard canon.

We are very much hoping COCKS OF THE BLOCK, featuring huge GBV fan Carl Dalemo and his compatriot Bjorn Agren, both of Razorlight, will return for the first time in four years to perform their usual mix of deep cuts, newer hits and underappreciated gems. While the intention is strongly to return to the EHF stage, their appearance must remain TBC for now, as it is dependent on the 'light's touring schedule.

Last year we had some US comrades over for the first time, and we are delighted to be welcoming over, for their first time, some others, in the form of TEENAGE FBI. Owen, Jackson and Stephen have played the original US HeedFest on multiple occasions and bring their set of songs which spans the whole lifetime of Guided By Voices to London.

And as is now customary, returning for their third appearance after rousing performances kicking off the show with a huge bang in 2024 and 2025, are Angus Knight's AIRSHOW '88.

There will also be the usual acoustic open mic in the garden from shortly after doors open until the first band starts, so get down early if you want to perform a couple of your favourites, or witness some special performances from other fans and maybe even some surprise guests!

The club is open!!
