Evolution of Fishermen
Evolution of Fishermen formed in 2021, brought together by a shared love of storytelling, unique harmonies, and original folk songs. Since their formation, the band has quickly established themselves as a prominent presence in the contemporary folk scene.
They've worked with notable promoters such as Sofar Sounds, performed at renowned venues including Green Note, O2 Islington, The Old Blue Last, and The Crescent. Their festival appearances include Wilderness, Deershed, LOOPFEST, Gate to Southwell and Medicine Festival (on Sam Lee's 'The Nest Stage').
The band's debut EP, Days Like These, has received multiple features on BBC Introducing and was launched with a sell-out gig at St. Bartholomew the Great's church in London in May 2024.
We cant wait to share the stage at Fox and Firkin with McGovern and Little Wees.
Little Wees
Little Wees is a collective of Lewisham local musicians who come together a few times a year to play a combination of Irish traditional folk music and pop songs. The collective was founded by Lewisham born and bred siblings of Irish Heritage.
