Hailed as a "master of sonic textures" by Rolling Stone and a "folk-rock visionary" by Uncut, Israel Nash has spent the past decade crafting one of the most distinctive and cinematic bodies of work in modern American music. A Missouri native now living on a ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas, Nash merges heartland storytelling with psychedelic soundscapes, drawing comparisons to Neil Young, Pink Floyd, and the great American songwriters while forging a voice entirely his own. Nash first broke out internationally with a run of critically acclaimed albums that earned him a devoted following across Europe and the UK. He reached a new creative peak with Ozarker (2023), produced by Kevin Ratterman (My Morning Jacket, Ray LaMontagne). The album served as a powerful homecoming-an anthemic, deeply personal collection inspired by Nash's Midwestern roots, family history, and the mythic spirit of the American heartland. Now, Nash enters his most ambitious era yet. In addition to releasing three major new music projects-Moods, an expansive new studio album; Sweetheart of the Rodeo, his full-album reinterpretation of The Byrds' country-rock landmark; and Rain Plans: Deluxe Edition, a remastered celebration of his breakthrough album complete with rare and unreleased material-Nash is also launching a new multimedia venture. The Israel Nash Transmission, a podcast and TV series, extends his artistic universe into long-form storytelling. Recorded at his Texas ranch, the show features intimate, purposeful conversations with influential voices in music, art, and culture-exploring creativity, place, mythology, and what it means to make meaningful work in a noisy world. Nash's newest projects reveal an artist in full stride-rooted in the earth yet reaching toward the cosmic, blending tradition and experimentation with an unmistakable sense of soul. Whether through his albums or his new Transmission series, Israel Nash continues to build a world where sound, story, and spirit converge.
