James Lavelle Presents - Living In My Headphones
James Lavelle returns this November with Living In My Headphones for the third instalment of his bi-monthly residency at The Social in Soho, London. The night takes its name from his acclaimed Soho Radio show, bringing its eclectic energy to the dancefloor.
This month we are excited to welcome longtime Rinse FM resident and co-founder of Erbium Records, Jay Carder, kicking off the night downstairs. The London-based DJ and producer has earned a reputation for her genre-warping and energy-driven sets, seamlessly fusing UK bass, techno, garage, jungle and breakbeat influences. Expect an open-minded and mood led journey crafted across tempo and texture, full of twists, bass weight, and unexpected flavour.
Then James will be taking over, starting with an eclectic set of old skool classics and deep cuts, everything from Funk, Soul, Hip Hop and Disco building through the night into a more contemporary club sound taking you on a euphoric, psychedelic and uplifting ride, much like he did back at That's How It Is, Fabric and many of his early residencies.
