French-born, UK-based singer-songwriter and bassist Jemily Rime is set to make your Friday evening both spookier and more sentimental with the launch gig of her highly anticipated EP, "Phantom Feels." Completing a fateful circle of existential reflection, the project arrives with 5 tracks, all marked by Jemily's signature moody vocals and intricate, emotionally rich melodies at the edge of jazz and pop.

The EP builds on the momentum of previously released singles "Kinda Liked It," "I Don'tThink About You," and "Angel," which were warmly received (BBC Introducing, Bassiste Magazine,  New Music Generator, Popdust, InMusic Blog...) and helped shape Jemily's hauntingly captivating sonic world. Across "Phantom Feels," she weaves sharp wit, eerie relatability, and perpetual melancholy into a cohesive and immersive emotional landscape. With "Phantom Feels," Jemily Rime does not just explore existentialism. She makes peace with it.

Catch Jemily Rime and her band live at the Raven in London (SE1 2UP) on the 29th of May for a celebratory evening.

"Vulnerable, gentle, and quietly strong all at once" - Beachhouse

Artist Bio--

Jemily Rime is a singer, bassist, and songwriter based in Cambridge, UK. She grew up in Paris, France, in a musical household, starting to play the piano at just three years old. She picked up the bass as a young teen and has not let go since.

In 2016, Jemily was a semi-finalist in the international songwriting competition, which kick-started her first release - "Otters mate for life" (2018) - an EP showcasing her eclectic musical influences, reflecting her love of Jazz, Pop-rock, and Soul. She went on to release another EP of short musical interludes, "Butterfly Minute" (2022), with each track being intertwined with a piece of art.

Her latest EP, "Phantom Feels" (2026), marks a new chapter. Leaning into more intentional, emotionally exposed songwriting, the record pairs vulnerable lyricism with sophisticated fusion-inspired arrangements and intricate bass lines. The singles "Angel," "I Don't Think About You," and "Kinda Liked It" have earned widespread support, including features on BBC Introducing Essex & Cambridgeshire, recognition as a "One To Watch" by New Music Generator, airplay on local radio stations internationally, and coverage from outlets such as Bassiste Magazine, Popdust, InMusic Blog, and Indie Tapes.

A compelling live performer, Jemily has brought "Phantom Feels" to stages across France and the UK, headlining and selling out iconic venues including Sunset Sunside in Paris and The Spice of Life in London. Known for turning complex, odd-meter pop into sing-along moments, she continues to build a devoted audience drawn to her haunting melodies and fearless emotional honesty.
