Marian Boswall and Anna Chapman Parker in Conversation

Join artist and writer Anna Chapman Parker and landscape architect Marian Boswall for a conversation exploring how we can reconnect with the natural world through close attention to plants—especially those often overlooked.

Drawing from their new books, Understorey and The Kindest Garden, Anna and Marian reflect on the role of weeds and wild plants in art, gardening, and ecological healing. From quiet drawings to regenerative landscape design, they share how careful observation and gentle cultivation can help us better understand our environments—and ourselves.

Together, they will offer practical insights into how we can see more, grow more kindly, and nurture spaces that support biodiversity and wellbeing. Whether you're an artist, gardener, or simply plant-curious, this event is an invitation to pause, notice, and grow.
