Nature Collage Workshop at Chelsea Physic Garden
Step into the world of 18th-century botanical artistry and celebrate the legacy of Mary Delany in her 325th birthday year. Inspired by her exquisite 'paper mosaicks,' this hands-on workshop will guide you in creating your own intricate nature collage using fine paper materials. Draw inspiration from the very plants that flourish at Chelsea Physic Garden—where Delany herself once found botanical wonders to inform her work.
As part of A Brush with Nature: Art in the Garden, our year-long celebration of art and nature, this workshop invites you to immerse yourself in the delicate craft of 'painting with paper' while exploring the artistic heritage of the Garden.
This workshop will take place upstairs in our Gallery space, which unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.
When you arrive:
- Please have your ticket ready - printed or on your device - before you arrive.
- Entrance will be via 66 Royal Hospital Road.

Please note:
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and must remain under close supervision as there is deep water and numerous poisonous plants.
Registered support dogs are welcome in the Garden, no other pets are allowed.
Unfortunately we cannot look after your luggage and we don't have any cloakroom facilities at the Garden.
There are a couple of council bike racks on Royal Hospital Road, unfortunately we do not have racks in the Garden due to lack of space and we can't look after your bicycle for you.
