Gigue Production presents No Land live in London for the first time on 14 May 2026 at 93 Feet East.
The Istanbul-based band brings together musicians from different cultures and geographies, blending influences from Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkey with a distinctive world music sound shaped by strings, brass, and layered rhythms.
Known for their powerful live performances and multilingual repertoire, No Land creates a timeless atmosphere where tradition meets contemporary energy. This special debut London show invites the audience into a borderless musical journey driven by strong storytelling and collective emotion.
Who is No Land?
The independent Istanbul-based music band No Land is formed by musicians from different cultures and geographies, blending the cultural spectrum of Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkey with world music. No Land's music can b e described a s timeless, featuring electric, bass, and acoustic guitars, drums, violin, cello, and trumpet, accompanied by lyrics of strong literary value.
The name No Land comes from the film "No Man's Land," suggested by Sahand Lesani, a s a reference to the members coming from different geographies a n d cultures. Throughout t h e process, t h e band h a s enriched its sound with changing members. The current lineup o f No Land consists of Kamil Hajiyev (vocals, violin), Çagatay Vural (bass guitar), Sahand Lesani (electric guitar), Oguz Can Bilgin (trumpet), Ege Atalay (cello), Metin Kesik (rhythm guitar), and Nihal Saruhanli (drums).
The band came together in 2012 and, after numerous live performances, released their first album Aramizda in 2016. T his album, which includes the band's early works produced since 2013, consists of songs with Azerbaijani and Turkish lyrics.
he track "Niye Bele Uzundur Bu Yollar" is a composition by the esteemed Azerbaijani artist Azer Cirttan Memmedov and was interpreted by No Land in their own style, referred to a s "No Land music - Nolandçe (Nolandish)." Apart from this, most o f t h e songs o n t h e album were written b y Kamil Hajiyev a n d Vugar Hasani.
The band's second album, "Pusulas Kaybolmus," released in 2019, marked a new phase in bringing their music to listeners and consists of songs with lyrics in Turkish, Azerbaijani, Persian, and Russian. Alongside the singles they have released over time, the band continues to produce albums and music actively. In 2026, they released the eight-track album "Son" a s a single titled "Daldim''.
