N1 Theatre Company presents 'Noises Off' written by Michael Frayn, directed by Paul Jaynes and performed by Court Theatre Training Company's final year undergraduate students.
'Noises Off is a play within a play with all the typical elements of a farce, doors continually bang open and shut, trousers are dropped and the director character is driven into a seething rage as the actors are baffled by their exits and entrances, missed cues, missed lines and bothersome props including a multitude of sardines. The second act provides a view from the backstage illuminating deteriorating relationships, lovers tiffs lead to offstage and onstage bedlam and the occasional attack with a fire axe.'
