RE:SONATE PRESENTS: NICOLA GUIDA + EMILY TRAN

A double bill tonight of two of the most exciting emerging artists on the UK jazz scene. First up, pianist and composer Emily Tran, this Tomorrow's Warriors-alumni has developed a versatile musical voice. Her solo project is a spiritually driven quintet including sax and trombone, drawing influence from artists like Immanuel Wilkins to Charles Mingus.

Headlining tonight is Italian-born pianist, composer, and producer Nicola Guida, With his deconstructive approach to the piano, Guida seamlessly blends jazz, cinematic elements, Alt-R&B, and abstract hip-hop into a highly conceptual soundscape. Since relocating to the UK, Guida has quickly made a name for himself through numerous collaborations with artists such as Contour, Lynda Dawn, Secret Night Gang, Ash Walker, Illa-J, Bel Cobain, Jitwam, Ruby Francis, and many others.
