"Rider" is the new album by SDH, set for release in April 2026. It marks their first release under the Canadian label Artoffact Records.
"Rider" is compact and direct; an album with a mature, striking sound. It's a record about losing oneself. About pain. About being completely unhinged. About accepting solitude. About driving at night with tears streaming down your face. And laughing at it all, wide-mouthed, at yourself and everything.
But ultimately, it speaks of regaining wisdom, like an exorcism, brought on, above all, by the night. Of course it speaks of the night. It wouldn't be SDH otherwise.
Their music has always been adventurous, moving between never-obvious pop hooks and a certain always-elusive industrial will, and on this new album they raise the stakes once again, achieving their most sonically personal album to date.
