Drawing on the music of Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, they bring real finesse to a catalogue where jazz harmony, R&B pulse and immaculate arrangement all have to sit in exactly the right place.
The set reaches across the great run of 1970s albums, from "Can't Buy a Thrill" and "Pretzel Logic" to "The Royal Scam", "Aja" and "Gaucho", revisiting songs that have long rewarded listeners who care about craft as much as hooks.
