Join Stone Club for an evening of Fogou mania. Fogou's are strange subterranean passageways that are unique to Cornwall, their purpose is shrouded in mystery... they are deep and dark and full of intriguing sounds.

We will be joined by Slomo on the year their album The Creep turns 20. The Creep has gained cult status, and this year sees it released on vinyl for the first time ever via Stephen O'Malley's label Ideologic Organ. There will be a conversation with Stephen, The Wire’s Joseph Stannard, and Slomo about the album, which will touch on the inspiration including Cornwall’s Boleigh Fogou, and The Modern Antiquarian website. There will be an amplified acoustic set from Alexander Tucker and we'll also be joined by Fiona Robertson, author of Stone Lands, who will take us through some of her favourite Cornish ancient sites in a conversation with Stone Club co-founder Matthew Shaw.

The evening will draw to a close with a full playback of The Creep— accompanied by a new film.

Come creep down the fogou with us!
