The multi-instrumentalist prides herself on offering a unique Indie/Americana sound with a blend of powerhouse vocals and catchy guitar hooks. Harriet is currently in the studio recording with Ed Cosens (Reverend And The Makers) and has recently supported Peter Doherty (The Libertines), Andrew Cushin, Jon McClure, The Lottery Winners and The Sherlocks. She describes her own music as “a mix of my dads youth and a mine. I was completely influenced until my mid-teens with tunes from The Smiths, Fairground Attraction, Beautiful South - anything my dad grew up on really. When I write, there's definitely a blend of those older vocals with the contemporary indie melodies which I listened to through choice..." 23-year-old Portsmouth born alt/indie singer-songwriter dipping his feet into hip-hop and soul influences has been writing his own music since he was 10. Inspired by the likes of Kasabian to Kate Bush to Billie Holliday, Dodgson’s songs encompass attitude and melody voiced by meticulously written, gritty lyrics. For the past three years, Dodgson has progressed from playing solo to perfecting his live shows with a full band. Together they performed multiple times at Isle of Wight, 110 Above and Victorious festivals, as well as gracing stages at The Great Escape, Live at Leeds, Truck, Tramlines, YNot and Kendal Calling festivals. Other shows included support slots for the likes of The Lottery Winners, Corella, Sundara Karma and Himalayas. 2023 saw Dodgson make his debut at Glastonbury festival and release his second EP (produced by Michael Smith at RYP Recordings, and one track by Damon Minchella and Tom Manning). It gained him multiple Radio 1 plays from the likes of Jack Saunders and Gemma Bradley, and main support slots for both Calum Bowie and Tom A. Smith on 11 of their UK tour dates. He also had no trouble selling out his own debut hometown headline show in April. Rikki Lee is a rising star making waves as a guitarist and artist. Born in Malaysia and now based in London, she began playing guitar early and has performed alongside Grammy-nominated Martin Smith, Jade from Little Mix, and X Factor’s Fleur East. Her passion and drive have earned her a spot in the UK music scene, captivating audiences with her virtuosic guitar solos and electrifying stage presence. Blending high-energy pop, rock, and electronic dance, Rikki’s music delivers a powerful fusion of sounds. Tracks like Addiction and How Are You Doing Now have received airplay on BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radio, and Malaysia's Hitz FM. Her single I Get Fidgety was also featured on a compilation spotlighting London's top emerging artists. Known for her live performances at Download Festival and Wembley Arena, Rikki has built a loyal following of over 150k on social media, even being spotlighted by Fender's Technique of the Week. With endorsements from D’Addario, Fender, and Focusrite, and her debut album on the way, Rikki Lee is not just a guitarist but a trailblazing force of a new sound in the music industry. HARVEY JAY DODGSON
With one foot in the grunge era, another in modern musical times, another in the realms of classic rock and yet another in more pop-aware, college rock territory. It is no wonder that I See Orange make such deft and ornate sound. The music may be heavy, but it always retains sight of the fact that the best songs should balance groove with grind, grit with grace, and power with poise.
