From the underground clubs of Chicago in the '80s to its global influence today, house music has shaped nightclubs, culture, and dance music broadly for decades. The genre, driven in its earliest stages by DIY usage of electronic instruments to create brand new sounds, redefined the dancefloor and has brought people together in ways never thought possible. With a full live arrangement featuring thumping bass, soaring synths, electrifying vocals, and infectious percussion, this performance is a tribute to the origins of house music and the pioneers who turned a black queer movement into a global sensation over the past 40+ years.
