Quantum Theatre are back with an enchanting new adaptation of two of Beatrix Potter's best-loved Tales, The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny.

Peter and his naughty cousin Benjamin know very well that they are not to go into Mr McGregor's garden, but they cannot resist and soon they find themselves in all sorts of scrapes, caught In a net, trapped by a snarling cat and face to face with Mr McGregor himself!

How will they ever escape? Can Old Mr Bunny come to the rescue in time? And whatever will Mr McGregor make of all those footprints in the flower beds?

Michael Whitmore's charming adaptation will have you spellbound so why not grab the kids, a blanket and a picnic and join Peter and Benjamin on their hair-raising adventures - a magical afternoon of fun for all the family.

Is this an outdoor performance?

This is an outdoor production at The Actors' Church in Covent Garden.

How do I access the Actors' Church?

There are usually five entrances to the Actors' Church - only one will be open for this performance. This entrance can be found on Bedford Street, on the opposite side from the Piazza. It is a short walk from Covent Garden, Charing Cross or Leicester Square station.

What time do you open?

Access to the church grounds will be from 45 minutes before the start of the performance.

Please be aware that as part of our security procedures, bag checks are utilised at this performance and any alcohol not purchased on site could be confiscated.

Can I book a ticket on the door?

Yes, in most cases you will be able to book a ticket on the door, however we do sell out some of our summer shows, so booking in advance is advised. Please note, we only accept card payments.

How do I book a specific seat?

This performance has unreserved seating, and is on a first come, first served basis. The benches are arranged in a horseshoe shape around the steps that lead up to the church itself, you will not need to bring your own seating.

Do you sell refreshments?

We will be operating a bar open from 45 minutes before the performance starts and during the interval. You will be able to purchase cold drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), including Prosecco, Pimm's and other favourites.

Children's snacks and drinks are also available at the bar.

Can I bring a picnic?

Although we do allow you to bring your own picnic blanket, you may bring food but we only allow drink that has been purchased onsite to be consumed on the premises. Remember that the grounds are not accessible until 45 minutes before the show.

Are there toilets?

Yes, there are gender neutral bathrooms located on the first floor of the church. There is also an access toilet located within the foyer of the church. Access to the church is step free.

What happens if I have accessibility requirements?

Unfortunately, due to the grade one listed nature of the building, this production is not wheelchair accessible as this is performed on the lawn and therefore two small steps are required to get up onto the lawn.

What happens if it rains?

The Great British summertime is famous for its unpredictable weather! In 99% of chances, the performance will continue come rain or shine. In cases of heavy rain, it may be necessary to halt the performance for a short period. In the unlikely circumstance of extreme weather (including extreme heat), the performance may be postponed until a further date. For more information on this, please read our Weather Policy.

Do please dress for the weather accordingly! If possible, try to avoid bringing umbrellas as they can block sight-lines for other audience members. Raincoats and ponchos are just as fetching - we can provide free ponchos for audience members without any suitable cover!

We completely understand that getting around London can be difficult sometimes! Although the performance will start promptly, we do allow access to latecomers during the first 15 minutes of the performance.
