'One of the UK's finest boogie woogie pianists and entertainers' - Jools Holland, Patron of Music, Boisdale

Jools Holland awarded him Boogie Woogie Artist of the Year at the Boisdale Music Awards. Tom Jones compared him to Little Richard. Noddy Holder put him in the top five boogie piano players in the world. Three opinions, all from people who have forgotten more about piano music than most of us will ever hear.

Tom Seals has played Ronnie Scott's, Birdland on Broadway, the Blue Note, Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival and Hyde Park supporting Pink Floyd. He represented Britain at Expo 2020 Dubai, performing solo to 7,000 people in the Al Wasl Dome with Prince William in the audience. He has a 13-week Sky TV series to his name and toured the London Palladium in 2025 with Strictly's Alja? and Janette. He also regularly does duelling pianos with Jools Holland, which tells you everything you need to know about where he sits in this world.

None of that changes what a Tom Seals show at Boisdale actually feels like, which is a Tuesday night that gets considerably better once he sits down at the piano. Boogie woogie, jazz, swing, singalongs and enough wit and warmth to carry a room from the first number to the last.
