Meet Our Hosts & Producers:

Svitlana Tsybak

CEO and General Manager of Beykush Winery, co-founder of the Ukrainian Association of Craft Winemakers and Ambassador for Wines of Ukraine. A passionate advocate for sustainable and regenerative viticulture, Svitlana has guided her winery through extraordinary challenges with vision and resilience. Douglas Harrison

Founder and buyer at The Best of Wines Ltd, a London-based importer with a deep commitment to distinctive wines from small, independent producers across Europe. With decades in the industry, Douglas is renowned for curating selections that emphasise terroir, individuality and authenticity.

Beykush Winery

A boutique estate nestled on the Beykush Peninsula along Ukraine’s Black Sea coast. Established in 2010, Beykush spans around 14 hectares and is celebrated for its innovative spirit. Alongside international varieties such as Chardonnay, Riesling and Merlot, the winery produces compelling wines from rare grapes including Albariño, Timorasso and Telti-Kuruk – a native varietal rediscovered by the estate.

Chateau Chizay

Founded in 1995 in the heart of Ukraine’s Transcarpathian wine region, Chateau Chizay covers 272 hectares of vineyards near the borders of Hungary, Romania, Poland and Slovakia. With a wine museum, tasting hall and restaurant, it is one of Ukraine’s most dynamic producers, known for its Furmint, Ice Wine, Cabernet Franc and other award-winning wines with global reach.

Kolonist Winery

Established in 2005 on the sunlit slopes above Lake Yalpug in southern Ukraine, Kolonist spans 33 hectares in the historic region of Danubian Bessarabia. The winery blends native varieties like Sukholymanskyi and Odeskyi Black with classic European grapes, producing refined wines under the guidance of Bordeaux oenologist Olivier Dauga. Its elegant, low-yield approach has earned Kolonist international acclaim and a strong presence across Europe’s diplomatic and fine dining circles.

Villa Tinta

Produced by family-owned Winehall Oksamytne in the village of Oksamytne, Villa Tinta is rooted in the historic lands of southern Ukraine where Count Davidoff once had his winemaking château. With 500 hectares of vineyards between Lake Yalpug and the Karakurt River, the estate produces a wide range of international and local grapes, with a focus on regional stars Sukholymanskyi and Odesa Black.
