Write Club With Maimuna Memon
The Dome at The House of KOKO, London.

Write Club is a supportive and nurturing group that dispels the myth that you have to go it alone as a writer.
On a monthly basis, come together with fellow writers from our membership community to share inspiration, ideas and creativity. Each session is led by a talk from a professional writer, first sharing experiences from their career, and then setting an exercise for participants to respond to and read aloud, if they choose.
This month, we’re delighted to welcome Olivier Award-winning actor, musician and writer Maimuna Memon, fresh from her recent exclusive showcase performance of Manic Street Creature in the House. Awarded the highly coveted Fringe First award, as well as ‘The Stage’ Award for Outstanding Performance and The Mental Health Award when it was first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Manic Street Creature has been hailed by The Guardian as “empathetic, impassioned and heartfelt”, while Memon has performed on some of the country’s most prestigious stages, from the National Theatre to the Royal Court and the Globe.
