The Boy in the Ocean Tickets and Dates
The Boy in the Ocean is a contemporary theatre piece exploring the aftermath of sexual assault through fragmented memory, movement, and storytelling. Performed primarily as a one-person play and supported by a movement ensemble, it follows a young man attempting to make sense of his experiences and the lasting impact they have on intimacy, identity, and memory. Blending naturalistic dialogue with physical theatre and stylised movement, the production moves between humour, vulnerability, and emotional tension. Raw, intimate, and visually expressive, the piece creates space for conversations around male experiences of trauma, healing, and the complicated process of trying to move forward.
